Foreign investors seeking a direct route to a U.S. Green Card via the EB-5 immigrant investor program are offered the unique opportunity to invest as little as US$500,000* in a first-rate American Charter School project. The investment will take the form of a loan made to an experienced developer, American Land Development of Central Florida, headquartered in Orlando, Florida. The Group has extensive experience constructing schools, condominiums and luxury home communities in central Florida and is large owner in the area. The school will be operated by Galileo School for Gifted Learning, Inc., a Florida not-for-profit corporation.
In the form of a subsidy per student, Galileo School for Gifted Learning, Inc. will receive a source of steady income from the local government and the state of Florida to cover for the school operating costs. As they do for all schools across the state, the government will remain responsible of overseeing the school’s financial and academic performance.
Description of the school and location
The school is located at 2343 Cameron Avenue, Sanford, FL 32771, which is in Seminole County. The school is known as the Galileo Charter School and currently has 270 students and is at full enrollment, the extension will commence construction in late 2015 with a delivery in July 2016. It will accommodate 546 students and will expand grades to K-8 (net gain of 276).
