Foreign investors seeking U.S. green cards via the EB-5 investor immigration program may lend the specified sum of money to an experienced developer to build a first-rate American charter school.
The building developer, ESJ is a well-established operator in the region, having already built several local charter schools, which are currently serving 8,000 students.
Once the construction is completed, the school facility will be made available to Charter School Associates for official operation with the state of Florida. The government of Florida will provide steady income for the school’s operating costs, and will oversee the school’s financial and academic performance, as it does all public schools across the state.
School Location: Sarasota, Florida
The school is located in North Port – Sarasota-Bradenton area, which has a population of over 720,000 people. Between 2010 and 2012, the population under the age of 18 in the area grew of over 21%, a rate that is 35% quicker than the growth in normal population.
The Finished Facility
Located on Beneva Road, Sarasota, Florida, the school will occupy a surface of 3,716.1 square-meter (40,000 square-foot) in Sarasota County. It will have capacity of 650 students from grade 9 to grade 12.
