May 26, 2020 – After the termination of the federal immigrant investor program, the Canadian government came with a new revamped path for business persons to migrate to Canada: the business start-up visa program, as known as the SUV program.<\/p>\n

The SUV program has the ambition to attract the best and brightest entrepreneurs from all over the world if they wish to develop new innovative ideas in Canada. To facilitate their establishment in Canada, the Canadian government issues permanent residency visas to qualified entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

In April 2013, the business start-up visa program was set up as pilot project and become a permanent program in 2018.<\/p>\n

With the start-up visa program, the Canadian government seeks to attract young applicants with high level of education and advanced English or French level. As per an evaluation report of the start-up visa program, most of the applicants are<\/p>\n
