The boundaries of immigration law in Canada are determined by <a href=\"https:\/\/laws-lois.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/Const\/page-3.html#h-24\"><strong>Section 95<\/strong><\/a> of the Constitution Act, 1867 which gives the power to legislate on immigration matters to both the federal and provincial government, with the condition that in case of conflict federal law prevails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"313\" height=\"479\" src=\"https:\/\/mandeville.com.hk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/ACT-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12641\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mandeville.com.hk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/ACT-2.jpg 313w, https:\/\/www.mandeville.com.hk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/ACT-2-196x300.jpg 196w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 313px) 100vw, 313px\" \/><figcaption>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Constitutional Act (1867)<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the level of the federal government, corporate immigration in Canada is mainly governed by the following laws:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/laws.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/acts\/i-2.5\/\">Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, S.C. 2001, c.27.<\/a> (IRPA).<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/laws-lois.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/regulations\/sor-2002-227\/\">Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, SOR\/2002-227<\/a> (IRPR).<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/laws-lois.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/acts\/c-29\/index.html\">Citizenship Act, R.S.C. 1985, c. C-29<\/a>.<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/laws-lois.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/regulations\/SOR-93-246\/index.html\">Citizenship Regulations, SOR\/93-246.<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/laws-lois.justice.gc.ca\/eng\/annualstatutes\/2014_22\/\">An Act to amend the Citizenship Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts L.C. 2014, ch. 22.<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to federal laws and regulations, corporate immigration is governed by <strong>multiples policies, laws, and regulations on a provincial level<\/strong>. As an example, corporate immigration in the province of Qu\u00e9bec is governed by the <a href=\"http:\/\/legisquebec.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/showDoc\/cs\/I-0.2.1?&amp;digest=\">Qu\u00e9bec Immigration Act, L.R.Q.c. I-0.2.1<\/a>.
